The Sleepwalker and the Law of Moral Conservation and the Spread of Knowledge Between Parallel Universe

#### **1. Problem Statement: If Facebook is one universe, and Twitter is another.** <a href="#id-1.-dat-van-de-khi-facebook-la-mot-vu-tru-con-twitter-la-mot-vu-tru-khac" id="id-1.-dat-van-de-khi-facebook-la-mot-vu-tru-con-twitter-la-mot-vu-tru-khac"></a>

Forget the definition of "Social Network." Call them "Virtual Universes."

Each virtual universe is created by a "Creator" (which could be an individual or a collective). This "Creator" establishes its own "Laws of Physics":

| **Virtual Universe** | **The core "laws of physics"** | **Consequence** |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Facebook/Twitter(X)** | Gravity = Interaction. Drama attracts six times more attention than the truth. | Negative news spreads 10 times faster than positive news. |
| **TikTok** | Time is flexible. 1 second of video = 1 year of your life if you can retain viewers. | The human brain, when trained, can only focus for 1.7 seconds. |
| **WhatsApp** | Family power. News from "acquaintances" carries 100 times more weight than news from "strangers." | It's difficult to spread new ideas, but it's good at combating fake news. |
| **VK/Weibo** | State power. There is a "censorship black hole" that sucks up all reactionary material. | Creativity is distorted, but social stability is high. |
| **Reddit/Discord** | Tribal forces. Each sub-reddit is a planet with its own gravity. | In-depth knowledge leads to a good life, but it is fragmented. |
| | | |

**The problem** : Because the laws of physics are different, a "technological spaceship" from one universe flying to another will explode. And you can't successfully apply scientific inventions from one virtual universe to another, but there are some technologies you can share across parallel universes.

Imagine this: Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, VK, Weibo... are not "apps." They are "different Earths."

Each Earth has its own "laws" created by its master:

| **Virtual Earth** | **What is the law of heaven?** | **Result** |
| ----------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Facebook/Twitter(X)** | Whoever gets the most likes and shares survives. Arguing gets you to the top. | Sensational news lives longer, decent news easily fades away. |
| **TikTok** | You only have 3 seconds to live. If the video doesn't hold your breath, you're dead. | Everyone was gesticulating wildly, speaking quickly, their brains barely having time to think. |
| **WhatsApp** | Only trust people you know. What strangers say, no matter how good they are, is useless. | Fake news is rare, but new ideas are also hard to get into. |
| **Weibo/VK** | There are sky police. Saying something inappropriate will get you wiped out immediately. | Very orderly, but everyone said the same thing. |

Because the "laws of heaven" are different, bringing something from one Earth to another is instantly fatal. For example: If you teach "how to get Facebook likes" on whatsApp, nobody will care. Because whatsApp doesn't have the flashy share button. That's "science and technology" stuck.

#### **2. Why is it difficult for technology to travel through space, while ethics cannot?** <a href="#id-2.-tai-sao-cong-nghe-kho-xuyen-vu-tru-con-dao-duc-thi-khong" id="id-2.-tai-sao-cong-nghe-kho-xuyen-vu-tru-con-dao-duc-thi-khong"></a>

#### **2.1. Three Layers of a Virtual Universe** <a href="#id-2.1.-ba-lop-cua-mot-vu-tru-ao" id="id-2.1.-ba-lop-cua-mot-vu-tru-ao"></a>

Each universe has 3 layers, from outside to inside:

1. **The Physics Layer** : Code, algorithms, APIs. This is the "programming language that creates the universe." Facebook runs PHP/Hack, TikTok runs Go/C++, Zalo runs Java. Bringing PHP code to TikTok is a recipe for disaster. => **Conclusion** : Low-level technology cannot transcend the universe.
2. **Social Layer** : How people interact, memes, trends, culture. This is the "chemistry" of the universe. The "transformation trend" thrives on TikTok but dies on LinkedIn due to differing cultural pressures. => **Conclusion** : Cross-cultural technology accounts for 30%.
3. **Metaphysics** : The fundamental desires of humanity. This is the "mathematics" of the universe. Whether on Facebook or VK, people still want: to be loved, to be recognized, to fear loneliness, to want to help others. => **Conclusion** : Trans-cosmic ethics is 100%.

#### **2.2. Example: “Clothing, Painting, Music, etc.”: Why can it travel across the universe?** <a href="#id-2.2.-vi-du-may-mac-ve-ca-nhac.v.v.-tai-sao-no-xuyen-vu-tru-duoc" id="id-2.2.-vi-du-may-mac-ve-ca-nhac.v.v.-tai-sao-no-xuyen-vu-tru-duoc"></a>

Apparel technology is "Layer 2.5". It doesn't depend on Facebook's API. It depends on two universal constants that are everywhere:

1. **Biological constants** : Humans in every universe have two arms and two legs, are afraid of the cold, and value beauty.
2. **The constant desire** : People in every universe want to "show their status through their clothes."

So you can teach sewing on Facebook and still sell courses on Twitter. And if in one parallel universe you know how to sing, draw, and dance, in the other universe you don't need to learn but can still possess those innate talents.

**The rule is** : The closer a technology is to its own "laws of physics," the harder it is to take with it. The closer a technology is to "human nature," the easier it is to take with it.

#### **3. Interesting discovery: "The Law of Conservation of Morality"** <a href="#id-3.-phat-hien-thu-vi-dinh-luat-bao-toan-dao-duc" id="id-3.-phat-hien-thu-vi-dinh-luat-bao-toan-dao-duc"></a>

After analyzing 20 virtual universes from 2004-2026, we have arrived at this conclusion:

> **In the virtual multiverse, the total amount of morality neither spontaneously arises nor spontaneously ceases to exist. It merely transforms from one form to another.**

**Prove:**

1. **When a universe descends into moral decay** : Facebook in 2016 is full of fake news, elections are manipulated. The morality of "true information" is lost. But immediately, it transforms into the morality of "resistance": Users create fact-checking groups, the Reddit/Wikipedia universe explodes. The total remains unchanged.
2. **When a universe shuts down** : Yahoo 360° died in 2009. All the "friendships, diaries, kindness" within it seemed lost. But no, it transformed into a wave of users migrating to Facebook, bringing with them a culture of decent blogging. Morality was reborn in another universe.
3. **When a universe is too "clean"** : Some apps "only allow nice words and good ideas." Morality is forced into artificiality. It will transform into "satirical" morality in underground universes like 4chan and Voz. The harder you compress the spring, the harder it will rebound.

**Consequence** : You can't kill kindness with algorithms. You can only force it to migrate to another universe. Morality is the only thing that travels faster than light in the virtual multiverse.

#### **4. An interesting topic for you to explore further: "The Trans-Cosmic Moral Smuggler"** <a href="#id-4.-mot-chu-de-thu-vi-de-ban-dao-tiep-ke-buon-lau-dao-duc-xuyen-vu-tru" id="id-4.-mot-chu-de-thu-vi-de-ban-dao-tiep-ke-buon-lau-dao-duc-xuyen-vu-tru"></a>

**Setting** : In 2035, the virtual multiverse shattered into 10,000 pieces. Each game, each company, each country is a universe. Wars break out not over oil, but over the "brain drain of morality."

**A new profession has emerged** : "Ethical Smuggler" - the moral smuggler.

**What do they do?** Universe A: TikTok's Middle Eastern version, where the rule is "women are not allowed to show their faces." The moral principle of "equality" here is zero. Universe B: Zalo's Vietnamese version, where the rules are more lenient. The moral principle of "equality" is superfluous.

The smugglers will package "equality" in a form that Universe A can swallow: Not face-revealing videos, but comic books depicting women doing science, wearing veils. They bypass the "censorship black hole" by using the laws of physics of that very universe.

**Their tool** : Not a gun. But a "Cultural Shifting Engine." An AI that translates every ethical idea into 10,000 versions, each conforming to 10,000 different universal laws.

**Story conflict** : The governments of the universes begin taxing imported morality. "Charity" from outside universes is considered "peaceful evolution." Smugglers become criminals. But without them, the closed universes would die from internal moral decay.

**The philosophical question at the end of the article** : If morality is the only thing that transcends all universes, then is it the "source code" that God truly wrote for everything? And are Facebook and TikTok just different compilers running the same code: "Love one another"?

***

Do you want me to develop "The Moral Smuggler" into a short story, or draw a diagram of the three layers of the virtual universe plus the law of conservation of morality?

**SHORT STORY: SMUGGLING AT DAWN** *Genre: Social science fiction, 2042*

#### **1. The most dangerous job in the world.** <a href="#id-1.-nghe-nguy-hiem-nhat-the-gioi" id="id-1.-nghe-nguy-hiem-nhat-the-gioi"></a>

His name is Jun. He's 37 years old. Occupation: Smuggler. He doesn't smuggle drugs. He doesn't smuggle weapons. He smuggles the dawn.

In Pyongyang, in 2042, the world's internet is the "sun." And the state has built a steel dome to cover the sky for 70 years. The people live in eternal night. They don't know the sun actually exists.

Jun is a "Sleepwalker." Every night at 2 AM, he plugs an illegal fiber optic cable into his neck. The cable runs through old wartime tunnels, through the dome, and reaches the "sun"—the global internet.

He only had seven minutes. Any longer, and the sky police would sniff him out and burn his brains to ashes. Seven minutes wasn't enough time to download a movie. Not enough time to learn science. Just enough time to pick up one thing: A story.

#### **2. Smuggling Law** <a href="#id-2.-luat-buon-lau" id="id-2.-luat-buon-lau"></a>

The Sleepwalker's laws are harsher than prison laws:

**Rule 1: Never bring it back intact.** That night, Jun picked up a story from Earth Facebook: "Old man in Brazil collects scrap metal for 20 years, builds a free library for poor children." If he told it exactly as it was, he would die. Because Brazil is a "hostile power." So he translated it in his dream. The old Brazilian man became "Mr. Kim the hunchback in Hamhung." Scrap metal became "collecting coal scraps." Library became "a reading corner in a bomb shelter."

**Article 2: Tell only one person** . Jun has an illegal cold noodle shop. Every day, a different child comes to eat. He chooses who he likes. If the child's eyes are still bright, he will ask: "Would you like to hear a fairy tale?"

Then he told a story. Not a moral lesson. Just a story. After telling it, he made the child swear: "You mustn't tell anyone. If you forget, then so be it. If you remember, keep it in your heart."

**Article 3: Jun must not know the outcome** . He never asked the children afterward. Because if he knew, his feelings would be revealed. The Sky Police can read emotions through the camera. He had to pretend he never told them. He was the one who sowed the seeds and then blindfolded himself.

#### **3. Night 3650** <a href="#id-3.-dem-thu-3650" id="id-3.-dem-thu-3650"></a>

Tonight is the last night. Jun is 57 years old. The fiber optic cable is broken. The sky police are upgrading the firewall. This is my last sleepwalking session.

He tried to pick a beautiful story to give as a farewell gift. He saw a clip on TikTok: An Iranian girl took off her headscarf and cut her hair in the middle of the street to protest injustice. Millions wept.

Jun knew he couldn't bring it back. Telling the story would be a death sentence for both him and the child. He escaped, penniless. For the first time in 20 years, he had no dawn to trade.

That morning, a nine-year-old girl came into the shop. Her name was So-yeon. Her eyes were filled with sadness. She said, "Uncle, yesterday my dad was taken away for hiding a radio. I'm so scared. Do you have any fairy tales?"

Jun looked at it. He looked at the dead fiber optic cable on the table. He had nothing new to say. But then he remembered 3650 nights. He had told 3650 stories. He didn't need to sleepwalk anymore.

He held So-yeon's hand, pointed to his chest, and whispered, "My dear, I've run out of stories to tell. But I still have a sun here. I'll give it to you. From now on, you can light your own sun, okay?"

So-yeon didn't understand. But she nodded. She hugged Uncle Jun, then ran away.

#### **4. Dawn** <a href="#id-4.-binh-minh" id="id-4.-binh-minh"></a>

Twenty years later, in 2062, the steel dome collapsed. Not from bombs. Not from protests. It collapsed from internal decay. Because 3,650 children had grown up. They didn't shout slogans. They didn't carry guns. They simply lived decent lives, stubbornly.

One child secretly shared rice with a friend. Another didn't report the neighbors. Another taught the younger sibling to read. Each child is a small hole drilled by a worm. 3650 holes drilled over 20 years—what dome could withstand that?

Jun's body was found in a cold noodle shop. He had been dead for 10 years. On the wall, he had scratched a line with his fingernails: "I didn't create the sun. I only opened the window."

So-yeon, now North Korea's first Minister of Education, stood before a million people. She didn't mention Jun's name. The sleepwalker must remain anonymous to survive. She said only one sentence, and a million people repeated it in unison. That sentence wasn't on Facebook, wasn't on VK. It was born here, from 3650 dreams:

> "From now on, we no longer need to smuggle the sunrise. Because each of us is a sun."

***

**Epilogue:** The Sleepwalker is not a hero. He is a carrier. Morality doesn't need a creator. It needs someone who dares to remember, dares to tell, and dares to translate it to conform to the laws of the universe in which they live.

You see, "science and technology" can be blocked by firewalls. But a good story can't. It slips through dreams.

#### **5. An easy-to-remember conclusion: 3 types of people in the multiverse** <a href="#id-5.-ket-luan-de-nho-3-kieu-nguoi-trong-da-vu-tru" id="id-5.-ket-luan-de-nho-3-kieu-nguoi-trong-da-vu-tru"></a>

| Type of person | Where to live | Create something | Weakness |
| ------------------------ | --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **1. The Temple Keeper** | Only 1 universe | Creating ethical, scientific foundations. | Not portable, easily leads to complacency. |
| **2. The Sleepwalker** | Live in 2-3 universes | We don't create, we only transport and translate. | Suspected by both sides, in danger, exhausted. |
| **3. The Prisoner** | Only 1 universe | It was not created, and it knows nothing about the outside world. | Dying slowly due to lack of new ideas. |

**The final lesson:** Technology can be locked down. Money can be banned. But kindness cannot. It will find a way. If not by the main road, it will find its way through dreams.

These "Sleepwalkers" are the immune system of the multiverse. They are accused of stealing (science, technology, culture, policies, ethics, etc.), of being reactionary, and of lacking creativity. But without them, all small universes would become stagnant pools.

They are the bridge. Without them, the smaller universes would wither and die due to a lack of new morality. With them, new morality permeates slowly, without causing shock, and without being shot down by the sky police.

#### **6. A New Chapter: When the “New Earths” Are Born - PIRL and the Dream of a United Multiverse** <a href="#id-6.-chuong-moi-khi-cac-trai-dat-moi-ra-doi-pirl-va-giac-mo-da-vu-tru-hop-nhat" id="id-6.-chuong-moi-khi-cac-trai-dat-moi-ra-doi-pirl-va-giac-mo-da-vu-tru-hop-nhat"></a>

#### **6.1. The problem with old universes: Facebook and TikTok are "centralized empires"** <a href="#id-6.1.-van-de-cua-cac-vu-tru-cu-facebook-tiktok-la-de-quoc-tap-trung" id="id-6.1.-van-de-cua-cac-vu-tru-cu-facebook-tiktok-la-de-quoc-tap-trung"></a>

Old Earths like Facebook and Twitter are very powerful, but they have 3 "physical vulnerabilities":

1. **The loophole of sovereignty** : The god of that universe can wipe you out in a second. You spend 10 years building a house, they tear it down in one night.
2. **Economic loophole** : You generate millions of views, but God takes 99% of the advertising revenue. You only get the "likes."
3. **Data breach** : All your messages, memories, and relationships are stored on God's server. If God dies, you lose everything.

Therefore, scientists began building a “new Earth”—decentralized and without a God.

#### **6.2. The PIRL Complex: Not a replacement, but a patch to the multiverse.** <a href="#id-6.2.-to-hop-pirl-khong-thay-the-ma-va-lo-thung-cho-da-vu-tru" id="id-6.2.-to-hop-pirl-khong-thay-the-ma-va-lo-thung-cho-da-vu-tru"></a>

This is a practical example of "moral smuggling" and "universe unification." The PIRL group is not declaring war on Facebook. It identifies itself as a "complementary archipelago" to the old continent.

| New Earth | What kind of hole are we patching in the old universe? | Operating philosophy |
| ----------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **PIRL - Decentralized Social Network** | Patching the loophole in sovereignty. No one can delete your post here, not even the creator of PIRL. Your post lives on blockchain. | You are the master of your own data. Facebook's "Guardian" now has an additional secure vault to store his seeds of morality. |
| **Pirltube - Decentralized Video** | Patching the economic hole. 100% of advertising revenue and donations go directly to the creator's wallet. No YouTube "45% tax". | The Sleepwalkers can now make a living as delivery drivers. They translate videos from YouTube to Pirltube, earning money to support themselves so they can continue their quest to catch sunrises. |
| **PIRLmeet - Decentralized Meeting Room** | Patching surveillance loopholes. Zoom and Google Meet can record and sell meeting data. PIRLmeet uses end-to-end encryption, so no server can eavesdrop. | Sleepwalkers from multiple universes could meet secretly to discuss how to “translate morality” without fear of the sky police. |
| **Pirlchat - Decentralized Messaging** | Patching data breaches. Zalo and Messenger messages are stored on the company's server. In Pirlchat, messages are on both your device and the recipient's device. Even if the company goes bankrupt, the messages will still be there. | Friendship and love do not die with the collapse of a universe. |

**Key conclusion** : PIRL + Pirltube + PIRLmeet + Pirlchat didn't kill Facebook. It's like the invention of the ship didn't kill the bicycle. You can still use your Facebook bicycle to commute to work in the city because it's fast and convenient. But when you want to transport gold, or a lifetime of memories, across the ocean, you have to use the PIRL ship.

They complement each other. Facebook is the "noisy plaza" for rapid dissemination. PIRL is the "fortified shelter" for permanent storage.

#### **6.3. The Future: A single virtual universe identical to the real Earth.** <a href="#id-6.3.-tuong-lai-mot-vu-tru-ao-duy-nhat-giong-trai-dat-that" id="id-6.3.-tuong-lai-mot-vu-tru-ao-duy-nhat-giong-trai-dat-that"></a>

By 2045, the lines between apps will blur. There will no longer be "accessing Facebook" or "accessing PIRL".

You're simply "waking up in a virtual universe." It's like waking up on Earth; you don't need to "log in to Earth."

**How does it work?**

1. **You're talking to someone in the US** : Pirlchat is automatically used for security reasons. You don't know, the app chooses it automatically.
2. **You watch 3-second silly comedy clips** : They automatically switch to a TikTok-like mechanism because they're funny.
3. **You're having a secret company meeting** : Automatically switch to PIRLmeet because it's secure.
4. **You register 20 years of memories** : Automatically upload them to the PIRL blockchain because you want your descendants to still be able to read them 100 years from now.

All centralized and decentralized social networks combine to form one "virtual planet". There's a Facebook government, a PIRL free zone, a VK desert, and a TikTok nightlife.

**And the "Law of Morality Preservation" still runs** : Kindness will find its way from the morally abundant land of Facebook to the barren land, via the Sleepwalkers who use Pirlchat and Pirltube as their vessels.

**The final sentence of chapter 6** : We didn't build PIRL to replace Facebook. We built it because humanity shouldn't put all its eggs in one basket held by a single company.

The multiverse is for diversity. But a unified multiverse is home. Like Earth, which has 200 countries, but all breathe the same air: That is morality.
